Abstract
Field work is an activity that is required by Polytechnic of Jember as a condition of graduation. One of the companies that provide the opportunity for students to do field work practice is PT.Ultajaya. PT.Ultajaya is a market leader in the sale of food and beverages so that if the terms of the taste of the products produced by this PT.Ultajaya is no doubt about it, apart from in terms of taste important thing to note is the packaging. This activity aims to determine the production process Buavita guava and perform durability testing using the method of stacking test. After that will be evaluated during the buildup process. The results of the implementation of street vendors is to know Buavita guava production process is done with some stages it starts from the raw materials in the form of concentrates, suction, mixing, cooling, temporary storage, sterilization, aseptic storage, filling, packing, and palletizer. While the results of an endurance test with stacking test method is 100% pack in a safe condition because the pack is dented can be tolerated and does not leak or seeped. Then the problems that occur during the process of stacking is not good pile, inter-personal motivations vary, the box is bulging and torn, box shape is not perfect, too many loopholes and pedestal uneven and humid room conditions.
