Abstract

This final project is to make Sempol sub district Bondowoso tourism booklet especially Ijen Crater and Little Niagara Waterfall. It aims at promoting Sempol sub district Bondowoso tourism objects and help tourists who visit Bondowoso to get complete information about Sempol tourism objects. The basic reason making this final project was based on consideration of the writer throughout the result of interview with chairperson of Promotion Division in Bondowoso Tourism Department that amount of Bondowoso tourist visit was low compared with amount of Banyuwangi tourist visit. The amount of Bondowoso tourist visit was much more at Sempol sub district. Nevertheless, promotional media that released by Bondowoso Tourism Department was not complete compared with Banyuwangi’s especially about Sempol tourism objects. In making this tourism booklet, the writer did seven steps, those were deciding content, collecting data, drafting text, reviewing text, editing, arranging layout, and publishing. During conducting this final project, the writer got difficulty in making booklet design. The writer is not able to operate Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw caused the writer hired profesional designer to visualize the concept into booklet. This problem gave the writer more spirit and motivation in making the booklet. The writer hopes that this tourism booklet will be beneficial for Bondowoso regency and tourists.
