Abstract

Developing a Bilingual Tourism Guidebook Entitled “Dancing of Thousands Bamboo” in Promoting the Potentials of Culture and Nature at Tanoker Ledokombo Jember is my Final Project. This project was done based on preliminary study that we conducted in Tanoker Ledokombo. The existing tourism guidebook in this department does not provide complete information of Tanoker Ledokombo. For that reason, I made a tourism guidebook with newest design, concept and provided more detail information of tourism object facilities, such as information all about Tanoker in Billingual edition. It is because the visitors of tourism objects in Tanoker Ledokombo are domestic and foreign. In designing the product, I adapted the procedure of making promotion media from Christian (2014). I asked editor who are expert in designing Tourism guidebook in bilingual edition for make my design. Created a Tourism guidebook in bilingual edition printed by A5 art carton paper special for picture. In conducting this final project, I applied my language skills that we got in English Study Program. I also got new knowledge and experiences in making guidebook. I suggest for English Study Program to teach Adobe photoshop and Correldraw in order to facilitate the student in finishing their final project. I do hope this guidebook can help Tanoker Ledokombo as media promotion.
