Abstract

This report describes about my daily activities of internship program conducted in culture division of Tourism, Youth, Sport and Transportation Department of Bondowoso Regency. It is one of departments which help the government of Bondowoso to manage tourism object in Bondowoso and maintain culture and tradition in Bondowoso. I decided to conduct Internship Program at Tourism, Youth, Sport and Transportation Department due to my interest at Speaking, Public Speaking, Public Relation, Correspondence, and English for Secretary. I believed by conducting internship program at Tourism, Youth, Sport and Transportation Department of Bondowoso Regency, I could got some benefits and apply my skill and knowledge that I got in English Study Program. In Tourism, Youth, Sport and Tranportations Department, I was placed in culture division. This division has a responsibility in managing archaeological, tradition, exhibition and sport event in Bondowoso. In Culture Division, I got duties to develop strategy in promoting tradition such as traditional dance and maintain archaeological remains in Bondowoso Regency. I applied promotion strategy by making promotion media like ID card for some events. Besides, I also applied my knowledge by following the event and being an event organizer in Audisi Kacong Jebbing in 2016. I concluded that Tourism, Youth, Sport and Transportation Department are suitable place to conduct an internship program so I could apply my skills and my knowledge which I have gotten from Politeknik Negeri Jember.
