Abstract

The aim of this study was to study the growth of gourami (Osphronemus gouramy) fish given feed formulated using mangrove leaf. The method this study was experiment assigned in completely randomized design (CRD). The treatments were four levels of mangroves leaf 0 % (P0), 5 % (P1), 10% (P2), 15% (P3) and each treatment is repeated 3 times. The parameters Specific Growth Rate (SGR) and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) as the main parameter. The result SGR P0 = 0,544 %/day, P1 = 0,491 %/day, P2 = 0,549 %/day, P3 = 0,463 %/day and the result FCR P0 = 5,74 g, P1 = 6,40 g, P2 = 5,58 g, P3 = 6,52 g. The results of ANOVA showed that the use of mangrove leaf meal in feed had no significant effect ( Fcalc ˂ Ftable 5 %) on SGR and FCR. While also measuring the survival rate (SR) and water quality that results were also no significant effect.
