Abstract
A seed is an important factor in the production of agricultural cultivation. CV. Nasienie Seed is one of the seed companies in Jember district. The quality of the seed products is a guarantee given by the company and had to be fulfilled by the consumer’s company. The quality seeds control use chart control method that is conducted in CV. Nasienie Seed aims to clarify whether the proccess of improving the quality of the product is good or not, and monitor the production process continously in order to remain the process is statistically stable. Based on the observation of the control chart X-bar and R on seed purity, indicates that there is data on the control chart X-bar that is out of control, while there is not data on the control chart R that is out of control, so it can be said that the production process is not be able to qualify statistical quality control with a low Cp value 0,81. Based on the observation of the control chart X-bar and R on the water contents indicates that there is no data that is out of control, so it can be said that the production process is in statistical control with Cp value 0,75. Based on the np control chart indicates that there is no data of germination that is out of control, so the production process of the sweet corn hybrid seed is in statistical control with Cp value 0,95.
