Abstract
Seed is one of the main factors that determinant of the success cultivation of agriculture. One type of seed is often cultivated is curly chili seed. Curly chili seed is one of the seed was susceptible to damage, so the seed companies need to control of quality. CV Nusantara Genetika Agro is one of seeds company in Jember district. Quality control using the control chart on CV Nusantara Genetika Agro is to find out the good quality of curly chili seeds. Application of control chart on curly chili seeds was reviewed from seed purity, moisture content, and germination. X-bar and R control chart is used for seed purity and moisture content obsevation, while the p control map is used for germination observation. Based on X-bar and R observation on seed purity, there were no data that out of control, so it an be said that the process is in statistical control. Process capability value (Cp) on obsevation is 2,38. Based on X-bar and R observation on moisture content, there were no data that out of control, so it can be said that the process is in statistical control. Proess capability value (Cp) on obsevation is 1,51. Based on p control chart shows that germination there were no data that out of control, so the production process of curly chili seed is in statistical control.
