Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of income farm chicken laying an independent in District Sukowono Jember and variables influence the cost of factors of production (number of animals, the cost of seed, feed costs, labor costs, and the price of the harvest) on the income of farmers. The study design used is the type of survey with interviews to 18 farmers and site selection study was done intentionally (purposive sampling). The first data analysis techniques to calculate the cost, revenue, and revenue. A second analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, F test and t test as a tool of analysis using SPSS 21.0 application assistance. Revenue laying chicken breeders independently in the district of Jember Regency largest Sukowono obtained by farmers who have business scale> 3.000 tail, while the smallest income earned by farmers who have business scale 500-1500 tail obtained within one year. Regression analysis using the F test result the number of livestock (X1), cost of seed (X2), the cost of feed (X3), labor costs (X4) and the price of their crop (X5) jointly have a significant effect (significance) to variable bound variable farmer income (Y). Based on t-test showed that the most dominant variable affecting the income of farm chicken laying an independent in District Sukowono Jember is a variable number of livestock (X1) and the cost of feed (X3).
