Abstract

Developing A Traditional Culture Booklet for Padepokan Seni Gema Buana a As a Centrald of Tourism Village in Prajekan Bondowoso is my Final Project. The fundamental reason in choosing this project is the existence of cultures which has not been exposed by district government. I found that there were some cultures that have big potential to be shown, but they do not have enough promotional media to show. So, this project focused on developing a booklet for Padepokan Seni Gema Buana with culture based. This product was completed with bilingual language to enlarge the promotion to foreign tourists. Beside this booklet had a simple size that was easy to bring. It could be used as educational media for people because this booklet explained the history and philosophy of cultures. I focused on telling about puppet as the one of attractions in Bondowoso. I believe this product will be useful either for Padepokan Seni Gema Buana or all sosiety. In making this booklet I had to do 8 steps to finish it, those are; deciding idea, outlining the concept writing the book, reviewing, revising, editing, arranging layout, and binding. By conducting this final project I could know how to make good booklet which needed creativity because booklet was the information medium about the institution and I suggested that English Study Program gave an additional guidance for students to offer a course on making the booklet.
