Abstract

Result capacity test is the final step of plant breeding program before that variety can be released as superior variety. This research was held from September until December 2015 at land research of State Polytechnic of Jember., Sumbersari, Jember. This research was conducted by non factorial Randomized Block Design (RDB) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments were (V1) OY-1004 Squash Groove, (V2) Bidara squash variety, (V3) Anggun squash variety, (V4) Prima squash variety. The data was analyzed by using F Test (ANOVA). If there was a significant effect between treatments so it will be continued with DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test ) with 1% or 5% error level. The research result showed that the tested groove had production that was still lower that Bidara variety but higher that Anggun and Prima variety. At OY-1004 groove had production result about 36,04 ton/ ha that be able more superior from Anggun comparison variety about 27,92 ton/ha and Prima comparison variety about 29,62 ton/ha.
