Abstract
Mariculture is one of fishery business trough. The develoment aquaqulture openly. Water quality include of physical, chemical ang biological troit. The aim of this study was to analyze the quality of water for cultivation of floating net in waters area of pasir putih beach situbondo and analyze the level of oxygen consumption in fishery floating net of pasir putih beach situbondo. Waters area this study method using survey resereach with data retrieval twice a day with an interval of 7 days as i week for months starting from the 5th of august up to 23th september 2015. The results that ob tained during the study, the water quality in waters area of pasir putih beach situbondo in floating net aquaqulture is still at the standart of waters quality standards according to KepMen LH No. 51 of 2004 on marine water quality standarts. It can be concluded that the waters of pasir putih beach situbondo is fertile because is on water quality standards according KepMen LH No. 51 of 2004. Another factor is said to be infertile because the variety of plankton in the watwrs and dominated by phytoplankton Bacillariphyceae class or diatom which is an indicator that these waters is fertile.
