Abstract

The aim of this reserch is to make a motorcycle security product by using cellular phone facility. Performance of security product will be the main issue that the research will do. Experimental method will be use during this research. The research will be place at State Polytechnic of Jember during 10th June 2016 – 05th Mei 2016. If motorcycleis being parked in side standing position, ignition switch ‘off’ , and system not worked, so the alarm in standby mode and engine cannot be started to running. If motorcycle will be thief, alarm will ‘on’ and sounding noise. To deactivate the alarm, we must make motorcycle in side stand position again, turn on ignition switch, and make a call to receiver number in the security product. After that, this producct detect a dial. Alarm will deactivate and engine can be started and ready to use. The experiment will be focus on duration of response for futhermore measure security product specification. The result show that cellular phone can be used for motorcycle security product. Average best response duration is 18,99 seconds obtained by using TE cellular facility. This safety product is operated in many condition.
