Abstract
Making a Tourism Guidebook in Bilingual Edition Entitled “Top 11 Naturally Jember Lovely Destination” was my project to graduate from Politeknik Negeri Jember. This project was done based on preliminary study that I conducted in Tourism and Culture Department of Jember. I found that the previous guidebook of Jember does not contain complete information about tourism objects in Jember especially Annual Events. For that reason, I decided to make a tourism guidebook with newest design, concept and provide more detail information about annual events of Jember in bilingual edition. It is because the visitors of tourism objects in Jember are domestic and foreign. In making the product, I adapted the procedure of making guidebook from Aprilia (2009). I created a tourism guidebook in bilingual edition printed and bundled using art paper 85 gram that would make guidebook became simpler to be bought everywhere. In conducting this final project, I applied English skills that had been learnt in English study program. Regarding this, I also got new knowledge and experiences in making guidebook. Furthermore, I do hope this guidebook can be a media in promoting and giving information about annual events of Jember for the tourist.
