Abstract

Developing a Tourism Guidebook of The Golden Triangle Lakes in Lumajang is a Final Project conducted based on premilinary study done in Tourism and Culture Department of Lumajang, East Java. The available media of promotion in this department is booklet containing short information of The Golden Triangle Lakes. This tourism guidebook is accordingly provided to complete the available promotional media in Tourism and Culture Department of Lumajang with complete information, structural concept and beautiful design. The information will be concepted in three parts: the opening consisting of cover, foreword, short history of Lumajang city, history of The Golden Triangle Lakes and table of contents; the main parts consisting of short explanation about each destination, location, accommodation, ticket price, facility, tips, hotel, restaurant, and the last will be completed with maps; the closing consisting of statement of The Golden Triangle Lakes tourism guidebook as the product of final project, people who have supervised my tourism guidebook, and significance of The Golden Triangle Lakes tourism guidebook for all tourists. There are adapted processes of making The Golden Triangle Lakes tourism guidebook based on Aprilia (2009), those are: Deciding idea (2) outlining book (3) writing the book (4) First validating (5) translating (6) Second validating (7) Arranging layout (8) Reviewing (9) Producing the product; choosing the paper, printing, and binding. This final project is to develop a Lumajang Tourism Guidebook that can be used to help domestic and non-domestic tourist to visit The Golden Triangle Lakes. viii Developing tourism guidebook of Triangle lakes entitled “The Golden Triangle Lakes: parts of Lumajang’s beauty” takes so much time, hard works, patience, efforts, struggles and total dedications. In process of content making, the writer had to apply English skills and English component such as writing and translation. Afterwards, to make a beautiful design of guidebook, I decided to ask designer’s help and suggestions. Hopefully, this guidebook may give much beneficial for tourists who want to visit Triangle lakes.
