Abstract

The objective of this experiment was to know the effect of hepng time and using fertilizer of gandasil B to plant height, ear weight per plant, ear weight per plot, number of ear per plant, number of ear per plot, and ear diameter. The data in this experiment was recorded from the field directly. The experiment design used in this experiment was randomized complete block design 2 factor with 3 replications. The first factor was heaping time consist of 4 level : P0 : not heaping, P1 : heaping 1 stage, P2 : heaping 2 stage, P3 : heaping 3 stage. The second factor was using fertilizer of gandasil B consist of 3 level : B1 : 2 gr/liter, B2 : 4 gr/liter, B3 : 6 gr/liter. The result of this experiment showed that time of heaping was not significant to plant height, ear weight per plant, ear weight per plot, number of ear per plot, and ear diameter. The using ferlitizer of gandasil B was not significant to plant height, ear weight per plant, ear weight per plot, number of ear per plot, and ear diameter. The was not interaction between heaping time and using fertilizer of gandasil B to among characteristic under investigation to plant height, ear weight per plant, ear weight per plot, number of ear per plot, and ear diameter, so in the implementation of maize cultivation does not need any heaping technical treatment in this study does not reveal the signifikan results.
