Abstract

His research on the influence various media cropping and trellis to production sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) to know the influence of various media cropping and trellis proper to production factor plants sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) varieties sari . The research was conducted over 3,5 month , ranging from august 2016 and december 2016 located in the village Kreyongan , in Patrang , district Jember , east java . Research their final task was conducted by using the random design complete (RDC) in factorials consisting 8 the treatment by 4 test. Factors first namely planting using many technical media planting: a mixture of soil and sand (M0) , a mixture of soil, sand, and vermicompost (M1) , a mixture of soil, sand, and compost (M2), a mixture of soil, sand, and amounts of cow manure (M3). The second factor is planting using trellis or not: plants use trellis (L0), plant without trellis (L1).The observation is made on variables how many branches per plants, the total weight of biomass per plants, total weigh bulbs fresh per plants, total bulbs per plants, long bulbs per plants, diameter bulbs per plants. The research results show that treatment how many branches per plant yielding different very real (hight significant) to the trellis factor, treatment a total weight of tubers per plant yielding markedly dissimilar (significant) for the media and interaction between media and trellis factor, total bulbs per plants markedly dissimilar (significant) for the media factor, and treatment other shows the results of different not real (non significant) so that it may concluded that the impact of various media cropping and trellis give a difference production factor sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas (L.) varieties sari.
