Abstract

Clinical pathway is the way to standardize clinical practice in hospital. Paru hospital implemented the clinical pathway of tuberculosis (TB) since 2012 that used for 3 months. Assumed that is affected by existing human resources due to uneven knowledge, monitoring and evaluation functions that haven’t been applied maximally and less motivation of the staff. The purpose of this research was to identify organizational and psychological factors for the implementation of clinical pathway tuberculosis at Paru Hospital. The method used descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicated that human resource variables affect the implementation of clinical pathway tuberculosis, it is known from the absence of training for officers but they are have a good knowledge that proven from 3 respondents can answer 80% correctly of all the questions and 1 respondent can answer 65% correctly from all the questions. The monitoring and evaluation variables that are not performed and the variable of motivation is not given. In this case it can be concluded that the organizational and psychological variables into the application of clinical pathway tuberculosis at Paru Hospital of Jember. It is expected that Paru Hospital carry out the training, monitoring and evaluation and providing motivation that can improve the work of officers.
