Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of adjourn of drying time on several rice varieties. This research was conducted at laboratory of Indonesian Centre for Rice Research (ICRR). It was applied Randomized Block Design with 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was variety with 3 levels, Inpari 42 Agritan GSR variety (V1), Inpari 34 Salin Agritan variety (V2), and Inpari 30 Ciherang Sub 1 Variety (V3). The second factor was adjourn of drying time with 4 levels, 0 day (P0) ,2 days (P1),4 days (P3) and 6 days (P4). The result of this research indicates that adjourn of drying time and varieties of rice are significant on proper water content for seed storage. 2 days adjourn of drying time to Inpari 42 Agritan GSR variety (V1P1) provide the best result on proper water content for storage of seed, it is 11,63%.
