Abstract

The development of information technology is so rapid has cut down into various sectors including health. One of the activities that can be done with the current information technology among others to facilitate obtaining accurate information about the availability of an empty room of a patient in a hospital. Registration inpatients at Regional Public Hospital Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang located on the wards, Outdoor Inpatient (TPPRI) and in the Emergency Unit. The problem that occurs is where the lack of an integrated information system of registering patients, the process of obtaining information inpatient empty space still manually. The process is registration officer asked over the phone to parts of the wards of the rooms were empty. This research is to use traditional qualitative data using interviews, observation, and documentation with the FAST method. The general objective of this research is to design applications inpatient wards at Regional Public Hospital Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. This research is to use traditional qualitative data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation with the FAST method. The result of this design applications management bed program output reports inpatients generate reports old patient treated and the mean old patients treated (ALOS or Average Length Of Stay). Researchers then expected to bridging or connecting applications are developed with the application SIMRS (Hospital Management Information System) and the final payment billing system in Regional Public Hospital Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang so that when patients go home and finish making payments then the beds were occupied by patients automatically empty.
