Abstract

Test of result capacity is final step of plant breeding program. The purpose is to choose one or some best furrows that can be released as new superior variety. This research heads for knowing the introduction result capacity of two squashlike vegetable furrows and two comparison varieties. This research was held on September until Desember 2015 at State Polytechnic of Jember. This research used Randomized Block Designed (RDB) non Factorial. The factor contains 4 treatments and repeated 6 times, there are V1 (Sasi F1) V2 (Prima F1), V3 (OY1007) and V4 (OY1008). The research result from some parameters that was monitored two squashlike vegetable furrows have not significant effect (ns) to the comparison variety, there ware flowering age, harvesting age, leaf length, leaf width and fruit diameter parameters. But fruit length, weight each fruits, the total of fruit each plants, the weight of fruit each plants, prdoction each hectare and saving capacity of froom temperature parameters have very significant effect (**). From the result test of two squashlike vegetable forrows have low production result, there is 17,88 tonnes/hectare than comparison variety there is 24,07 tonnes/hectare.
