Abstract
Horticulture seeds are one of the main factors for running a business in agriculture, where horticultural seeds are currently needed by farmers who want to grow vegetables. One of the company that provides seeds for planting by farmers is CV Benih Primadona Kencana. This company produces several types of vegetable. One of the seeds produced is bean seeds. Long bean is a plant that is quite popular because it tastes good and delicious after being cooked. To meet consumer desires, the company needs to control the quality of the seeds. Quality control of bean seeds is by testing the water content, seed purity, and germination. Based on the observation of the control chart X-bar and R on the water content, purity seeds, and germination of the cucumber seed, it indicates that there is no data out of the limit of control. It can be conclude that it has been controlled. The value of the process capability of water content got 0.63. The value of the process capability of purity seeds got 0.73 and germination got 0.92. From the results of the process capabilities, it is concluded that the process capability has not been able to meet the standards set by the company.
