Abstract
This study attempts to examine the potential produce corn crop bisi 2 varieties of setting a growing number of seeds and the use of a growing hole. The research was conducted over 5 months from september 2016 until january 2017. Research carried out in the land polytechnic Jember, Tegal Gede village, in Sumbersari, district Jember at the height of ±83 m dpl. This research using random design group (RAK) factorial with 2 factors , 9 treatment and 3 repetition , factor a growing (distance) consisting of three standard the 100 x 100 cm, 100 x 75 cm , and 100 x 50 cm. Factor m (the number of seeds) consisting of 3 standard the 2 seed of holes , 5 seed of holes , 8 seed and of holes. Data analyzed using anova and then tested said use dmrt the economic situation of 5 percent. The result showed that the treatment plant (a real) exert (*) on the parameter long cobs and heavy cobs of sample. In addition , also give impact very real (**) on the parameter heavy cobs per plot and heavy wiwilan of plot . Treatment of seeds holes ( m ) exert real (*) on the parameters diameter of cornstalks 60 hst, and give impact very real (**) against diameter of cobs parameters, heavy cobs per plot, heavy wiwilan of sample, heavy pipilan of plot, and heavy 100 seeds. Interaction between setting a growing number of seeds and use exert real (*) on the parameter cobs diameter.In addition, also give impact very real (**) against parameter tall plant 35 hst.
