Abstract

Technology information and communication system is a needs and demand for public service agencies, including hospitals. Hospital is an organization that specializes in health services, the main purpose of hospital is providing health services. One of the way to reach the purpose is by providing a hospital management information system to improve service quality. PKU Muhammadiyah Rogojampi is a private hospital D class that has been used SIMRS since 2014. The problem on using SIMRS is the information system has never been audited, so it’s doesn’t known the SIMRS has supported or not. From these problems, it’s very necessary to do an audit governance of SIMRS. This research focuses on the use SIMRS in realizing the strategic goals of PKU Muhammadiyah Rogojampi Hospital, namely improving service quality through an IT-based service system for business profit processes. The standard was used in this research is COBIT 5 with EDM03, APO10, APO12, APO13, BAI01, BAI06, DSS01, DSS02, DSS03, DSS04, DSS05, DSS06, MEA01, MEA02, and MEA03 domains. This research used brainstorming, questionnaires and observations methodes. Respondents in this research are people who have responsibilities in each domains which have been mapped using the RACI chart. Based on the calculation of capability level, all domains in this research still at level 0 (incomplete process), which means the process hasn’t been implemented or failed to achieve the goals. It’s because of SIMRS at PKU Muhammadiyah Rogojampi Hospital has been done the process activities at base practice but the implementation hasn’t been monitored and has very less evidence of work product.
