Abstract

Jember is one of the towns most of its people are farmers, but most of the farmers do not know and do not understand thoroughly about agricultural science. The problem most often known by the farmers is the problem of plant pests, especially pests and some types of insects that attack plants in a way that is different or symptoms that arise're also different. Given these problems farmers have to plan and prepare the way for the control of plant pests third. However, in the control will be undertaken by farmers, growers often have trouble because they do not know the disease of these plants, so uncontrolled controls undertaken by the farmer plants thoroughly. Under these conditions we need a good planning of plant diseases that can perform a control well. One application that can be used is to identify the disease in tobacco plants by using decision tree method.
