Abstract
The cultivation of freshwater consumption fish is mostly occupied by the Indonesian people, especially the cultivation of gouramy. In addition to low maintenance costs, gouramy is a consumption fish that has high economic value. However, there are obstacles experienced by farmers or cultivators in terms of maintaining gouramy, one of which is the presence of disease. There are many types of gourami disease with almost the same symptoms. Many gouramy cultivators or breeders do not know the types of diseases that attack and how to handle the disease properly, causing mass death of fish and causing losses. Based on these problems, researchers will build an expert system to diagnose diseases in gouramy based on a website. The method used is Certainty Factor. The outputs displayed are the results of the diagnosis in the form of the percentage of the disease and the appropriate way of handling. Based on the results of black box testing, it can be concluded that the system can function properly. In this study, the system accuracy was 89.13% with 46 experiments conducted by gouramy farmers and validated by experts. Keywords : Expert System, Diagnosis, Gouramy, Certainty Factor
