Abstract

Biogas produced of organic waste is flammable gases (flammable) resulting from fermentation process organic ingredients in anaerobic condition (condition airtight). The research was conducted from making biogas cow manure and parchment skin coffee with pretreatment using NaOH (sodium hydroxide) by comparison water 1: 1. The purpose of pretreatment to undermine the lignin to accelerate hydrolysis cellulose into glucose. Researcher do this research with 3 pretreatment and 3 repeating for 30 days, where A treatment is cow marune as control, B treatment is cow marune mix with parchment skin coffee and C treatment is cow marune mix with parchment skin coffee using NaOH in the beginning of treatment . The best results in this research is C treatment, it can produced gas on 3rd day of research with gas volume total is 10946,7 ml per days and highest production rate is 408,421 ml per days.
