Abstract

Patient registration system currently applied are still using manual recording system is not computerized. While the reception of patients who did little each day, requiring more speed in recording and searching for patient data. If nothing is done, will lead to long queues of patients and the needed information is not timely. If the patient's treatment medication forget to carry an index card (KIB), then the patient will be given a new medical record number, causing the redundancy of data and produce information that is not relevant. In addition, the registration manually recording prone to human error, as well as counting the number of patient visits in a period that is done manually, potentially resulting in inaccurate information. The purpose of this research is to design patient registration information systems of Patrang sub health center. This study is a qualitative research using the waterfall model. Stages in this model include requirements definition, system and software design, implementation and testing of the unit, as well as the integration and system testing. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. Results from this study is Information Systems Sub Health Center Patient Registration System. By doing the patient registration information system design, can be used as an input (reference) which is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of patient enrollment services.
