Abstract

Patrang Health Center is one of the Regional Health Center in Jember, using medical records manually. There are some obstacles encountered in its implementation, the registrar takes a long time when searching for files older patients, and patients who do not carry KIB long regarded as a new patient, so the patient's medical data is not sustainable. This will affect the quality of service to patients, terutamapasien routine controls and patients with chronic disease. In addition to medication management, pharmacists experienced problems when drug stocks already depleted, and forget not notify the clinic, this will affect the performance of physicians in prescribing to patients. The purpose of this research is to design the Electronic Medical Record General Clinic Patrang Public Health in Jember. This study is a qualitative study using waterfall method of designing a model system. Stages in this model include analysis, design, coding and testing. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are Electronic Medical Record General Clinic Patrang Public Health. By designing medical record, expected to be applicable and can help overcome the problems that exist in the General Health Center Patrang Poli. Performance becomes more effective and efficient so as to improve the quality of care and maintaining data security. The information system may be expanded by adding modules reporting to health authorities.
