Abstract

The research that has been conducted to determine the effect of various concentration of coconut water on the growth of sugarcane seedlings (Saccharum officinarum L.). This research was conducted at the Polytechnic of Jember land in December to February 2016. This study uses a T - test with 2 treatment. As the first variable is the concentration of coconut water C1 (25 % coconut water) and C2 (50 % coconut water), Observation of the growth parameters plant height, number of leaves, and the number of tillers. The results showed that all treatments coconut water concentrations significantly affect the growth of sugarcane seedlings. Treatment concentration of 25 % shows the highest value on plant height, number of leaves, and the number of tillers
