Abstract
Medical record workspace in Bhayangkara Bondowoso Hospital has an area of 45 m2 , divided to 27 m2 for inpatient active filling and 18 m2 for employe’s workspace and outpatient active filling feels small and crowded because arrangement of the room look less efficient and tidy. The purpose of this research was design workspace for get fulfill ergonomic aspects in Bhayangkara Bondowoso Hospital.This research is qualitative. The results of this research are space requirement and facilities and infrastructure of medical record room with an area of 88 m 2 divided to 3( three ) rooms are admin space( Assembling, Coding, Indexing, and Reporting ), active filling room and depository.New workspace of medical records made adjustable ergonomic arrangement of the room with a working system of medical records.Componet of work system consists of spatial planning based on the workflow of the employe, medical record spacious room,and facilities and infrastructure include equipments,tools,with the phisical environment of workspace. The components of system set with techniques and principles of engineering working procedures to obtain the best of working system.. By using spatial design is the space of medical records available to add inactive filling room later and get a medical record which fulfills the efficient, health, secure, safe, and comfort for medical recorder and medical record files.
