Abstract

The productivity increasing effort of rubber plant farm enterprises with grafting technique and to overcome the length of rubber plant seed dormant to kinetin concentration giving. This research was held at Jl. Mastrip 4, Tegal Gede village, Sumbersari, Jember and Seed Techlonogy Laboratory of State Polytechnic of Jember for September - December 2015. The research was conducted by Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor was covering (S) that consisted of Without Covering (S0) and Covering (S1). The second factor was Kinetin (K) that consisted of 0 ppm (K0), 5 ppm (K1), 10 ppm (K2), 15 ppm (K3). The result showed that kinetin giving with 10 ppm concentration give significant effect to bud height parameter with the highest value is 31,06, and give high significant effect to root dry weight. Application 0-15 ppm did not give significant effect to time of budding, bud diameter, number of leaves, number of roots, and root length parameter.
