Abstract

One of method for increase corn hybrid production is using EM4 and planting distance. Purpose of this reasearch is decide effect of using EM4 and Planting Distance of corn hybrid BISI-2 varieties result. This research impemented on October 2014 until February 2015, in agriculture Agriculture Production Polytechnic state of Jember. This research implemented by using Rancangan Acak Kelompok Desain Metode consist of 2 factor and 3 repeating method. First factor is planting distance consist of 3 level and second factor is EM4 consist of 3 level. The next test by using F experiment on 1% and 5% level. Result of research shown that EM4 treatment and planting distance of growth and production result of corn plants (Zea mays L.) giving real influential of observation parameter high of plants age 45 HST, treatment of planting distance give not real influential of growth and production result of corn plants (Zea mays L.) in obsevation high of plants age 15 HST 25 HST, 35 HST, the weight of cob without husk cover, the weight of seed, and weight of 100 seeds per cob give not real influential. Planting distance shown that best result thats optimal planting distance 70 cm x 20 cm. Treatment interction between EM4 and planting distance give not real influential of all growth parameter and production result corn plantation (Zea mays L.)
