Abstract

Morbidity DHF (Dengue Hemorrhage Fever) is caused by the mosquito Aides Aygepti . Mosquitoes can breed rapidly in the environment that are not treated . System mapping is an action that should be taken to monitor the spread of this mosquito , so that the level of DHF can be minimized as small as possible . This mapping system using Quantum GIS application version 1.8.0 . This study aims at designing and create a digital map of the distribution of dengue morbidity . This research was conducted in Jember Health Office starting on June 20 until December 31 . The method used in the study is Waterfall . In this study , Quantum GIS is used to create a digital map that can be connected to the databases of the characteristics of an area . The results of this study is a digital map of the spread of dengue in Jember . This map can display the attributes geography of an area such as rainfall , population density , height , area , and population . Digital map is equipped color as an indicator of dengue at a local level .
