Abstract
This research aim to know influence of harvest age to the efficiency of native chicken feed. Method used in this research experimental method with eight treatments and three replications. The native chicken used native chicken unsex 240. The feed used is commercial feed with 21% protein content and 3,000 kcal / kg metabolic energy. The experimen us RAL, with eight treatments and three replications, the experimental unit consists of ten native chickens. The feed is administered by adlibitum at the age of one to 62 days, Age studied was harvest age 55 days, 56 days, 57 days, 58 days, 59 days, 60 days, 61 days and 62 days. The results showed that harvest age had a very significant effect on feed consumption, weight , body weight, and harvest age has no effect on feed conversion. Average feed intake of P1, P2, P3, P4, P5, P6, P7 and P8 was 2,271; 2,356.3; 2,415.9; 2520,23; 2.598.07; 2,730.9; 2,755.13; 2,876.6 grams, The average result of body weight gain 710,37; 740.9; 743,6; 760.3; 785.3; 805.63; 813; 845.3 grams, Average feed conversion results 3.04; 3.06; 3.10; 3.11; 3.11; 3.13; 3.16; 3.19.The conclusion of this research, age of harvest effect on feed consumption, body weight gain, body weight, and harvest age have no effect on feed conversion. Good age is seen from the profitability body weight and good feed consumption is age 59 days
