Abstract

Hospital is a health facility that organize for health service evenly, with focus of supporting the disease healing and health recovery, which is conducted harmoniously and integrated with efforts to health improve and disease prevention in an order of reference and that is can be used for education and training. A good medical record work unit should have an appropriate arrangements workspace. Appropriate work space that includes efficient, comfortable, healthy and safe for work. The less infrastructure can result the service performance becomes not optimal. The purpose of this research is to design medical record work space with the needs infrastructure in medical record unit at Genteng General Hospital 2016. This research used qualitative method with the data collecting techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The output of this research in the design of the medical record space unit according to the ergonomics standard with the attention of rooms width area, lighting with a minimum standard of 100 lux, temperature of 18-30°C, air circulation with ventilation at least 15% of the rooms width area, the layout is according to the workflow and adequate infrastructure.
