Abstract

Both nature and culture are major components of Indonesian tourism especially in East Java. Each area in East Java has own unique natural and cultural that has potential to become tourism destination. Situbondo Regency is a regency of East Java province in Indonesia that has potential in tourism objects especially in beach tourism objects. This final project is Developing a Website for Beaches in situbondo. It aims to give information about beaches in Situbondo and provide complete information about beach itself, location, access and accomodation for the tourists who visit Situbondo. The website itself will use bilingual language, Bahasa Indonesia and English, and provide switch button with flag picture to help the visitor to switch the language. In making this Promotional Website, the writer will use wordpress as base of the website. This website will provide the information in form of persuasive text and picture to attract the visitors. The writer do hope that by developing this promotional website the writer can show and promote beaches in Situbondo. In this website, the writer is responsible for providing accurate information about the information of beaches in situbondo. Eventually, it is essential that students of English Department of Politeknik Negeri Jember have the ability in developing a promotional website for tourism places. Therefore, They can contribute toward its development.
