Abstract
Information Technology and Communication Technology Laboratory in Vocational High School 5 Jember undertakes inventory management to maintain and create administrative order and facilitate supervision and control of facilities and infrastructure. With accurate inventory management, it will improve the quality and process of lab work in the laboratory. So far, the management of laboratory inventory at the Department of Information and Communication Technology in Vocational High School 5 Jember is still done manually by technicians and laboratory heads. Manual inventory management makes it difficult to search for inventory data that is needed. In addition, the tool code consists of a combination of numbers and letters that are too long, allowing an error when inputting the tool code. Therefore it is necessary to inventory system and lending tool to accelerate the process of recording equipment data, as well as processing inventory data tools as well as in it there is information about the loaning and return of equipment. In addition to information systems, also required hardware that is useful to support the speed and ease in the use of such information systems using Barcode Scanner.
