Abstract

Making a Tourism Guidebook of Bandealit Beach entitled “Discover Bandealit Beach” was the project of study from Politeknik Negeri Jember. This project was done based on some activities to collect complete data and information related to the content of information and data of Bandealit Beach. Besides, not available guidebook for Bandealit Beach before. For that reason, I decided to making a tourism guidebook for Bandealit to make easier the visitors visit to Bandealit Beach and also to promote Bandealit Beach it self. In addition, this guidebook contained description and information about tourism object such as Attraction, Flora and Fauna, and Accommodation provided completed with an English version that will help foreign tourist to understand the book easily. Dealing with this, I focused on Interest Tour and Culinary part. In designing the product, I adopted the procedures of designing a guidebook proposed by Aprilia (2009) as cited in Setianingrum et al. (2015). For the designing a tourism guidebook, my partner team did it. I created the guidebook by used art paper 85 gram. In conducting this final project, I using Canva to design the layout and background of the product. Regarding this, I got new knowledge and experiences in designing the guidebook. I suggested English Study Program to develop some materials related to the process in designing a guidebook or the other printed promotional media. Furthermore, it is expected that the guidebook can help Bandealit Beach in promoting and giving information for its visitors.
