Abstract

The research aimed to study the effect of feed restricted feeding and metabolism energy at age 14 to 35 days on the appearance of reproduction maturity quail. The experrient used Completely Randomized Design. The treatment of restricted given is P0R1: adlibitum EM 2900 kcal / kg, P0R2: adlibitum EM 2800 kcal / kg, P1R1: 90% of adlibitum EM 2900 kcal / kg, P1R2: 90% of adlibitum EM 2800 kcal / kg, P2R1: 80% of adlibitum EM 2900 kcal / kg, P2R2: 80% of adlibitum EM 2800 kcal / kg, each treatment consists of 5 replicaties consisting of 10 quails each repeated. Feeding restrictions were performed from the age of 14 days until the adult quail. Observations were made on the development of reproductive appearances during sex. The results showed that feed restriction had significant effect (P <0,01) on genital of cooking age, had no significant effect (P> 0,05) on body weight and appearance of reproduction maturity, feed restriction can increase egg production and decrease feed conversion during early production.
