Abstract

Ayam kampung super (Indonesian), “super” it’s mean “sudah persilangan” (breed cross/hybrid). The Native chicken is a breed cross from laying hens with local rooster. The aim of this research the effect of feed protein level on the Native Chicken productivity. This research used the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) one way with 4 treatments and 5 replications. As such as 200 Native Chicken is used in this research. The results showed that the feed of protein levels significantly (P<0,01) on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio. Feeding with protein levels 18%, 20%,22% and 2800 kcal/kg given best treatment than using protein level 16%. Between protein levels 18%, 20%, and 22% is not significantly on feed consumption, body weight gain, and feed conversion ratio.
