Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effectivity of entomopathogenic nematode (steinernema carpocapsae) and additions of rice water on soybean pant. This research was conducted in Krajan Barat, Tegal gede subdistrict Sumbersari, Jember city, East Java Province. The timing of this research started from August 2016 until December 2016. The research method used is Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors. The treatment attempted on factor one (N) is the concentrat of entomopathogenic nematodes with 4 levels which were control (N0), 1 ampoule / tank (N1), 2 ampoule / tank (N2) and 3 ampoule / tank (N3). While the factor of two (D) is the dose of rice water with 4 levels which were control (D0), 50 ml / plant (D1), 100 ml / plant (D2) and 150 ml / plant (D3). The result showed that application of entomopatogen nematode (S.carpocapsae) could suppress leaf pest populations which occurred in the highest descent of grayak caterpillar reaching 88.89% at concentrat 30 million IJ / 14 liter and the lowest percentage reaching 67,59% at concentrat 10 million IJ / 14 liters, the highest descent of jengkal caterpillar pest reaching 86.58% in the concentrat of 30 million IJ / 14 liters and the lowest reached 59.72% at a concentrat of 20 million IJ / 14 liters, and the highest decrease of penggulung daun caterpillar pest reached 96.76% at a concentrat of 30 million IJ / 14 liters and the lowest reached 70.14% at a concentrat of 10 million IJ / 14 liters. The application of rice water had a very significant effect on the plant height parameter of 35 HST which is at the concentration of 100 ml / plant. The interaction treatment of entomopathogenic nematodes and rice water gave no significant effect on the nonsignificant. So, it can be concluded that the application of entomopatogen nematode was effective in controlling leaf caterpillar pests and rice water was effective to plant height.
