Abstract

Filling room is one of the most support rooms in medical record services, medical record files for inpatients and outpatient kept safely because its secret and a legal aspect. In medical record unit of Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) Srikandi IBI Jember, there were misfiles (loss and misplacement of medical record files) of 453 medical record documents found misplaced event 16 and loss 2. The impact of the incident misfile can inhibit the process of the medical record so that any delay in the process of patient care, not continuous medical record content (Angara, 2015). The aims of the study its do a priority analysis of factors causing misfile occurrence in filing medical record unit Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak (RSIA) Srikandi IBI Jember. This study uses qualitative methods and data acquisition in this study is through in-depth interviews, observations and Nominal Group Technique discussions. The results obtained in this research, get priority problem of cause of misfile event that is officer of medical record which less attend training and seminar about management of medical record. Alternative solutions provide socialization about the benefits of attending seminars and training for medical record officers and applying regulations such as punishment to minimize misfile of medical record files
