Abstract

Medical record is a file that contains records and documents on his identity.Medical resumes are made as a summary of the services provided by health personnel, during the treatment period until the patient is discharged from the hospital either alive or dead. Medical resume can be a study material for medical record quality control. A medical record file has an administrative value, because it contains action based on authority and responsibility as medical and paramedical personnel in achieving health service goals. The preparation of medical resumes conducted at Wijaya Kusuma Lumajang Hospital is still not in accordance with the technical guidance of the medical record, the difficulties experienced by the officers and the managers of the Medical Resume unit are less concerned with the filling of Resume Medical files.The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of knowledge and attitudes of physicians to filling inpatient medical resume sheet at Wijaya Kusuma Lumajang Hospital. The type of research is an analytic and cross sectional approach, which is to test Rank Spearman, where the process of collecting and retrieving data is done by questionnaire and observation. The results obtained there is a strong relationship between knowledge and attitudes of physicians to fill in sheet medical resume inpatient hospital in Wijaya Kusuma Lumajang. The suggestions for Wijaya Kusuma Lumajang hospital further improve the doctor's knowledge about the complete medical record document.
