Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to determine the level of profit from the goat breeding business by improving feed efficiency through the addition of maize straw inoculated by Tricoderma sp. and gamal leaves. This activity is held in the cage belonging to Mr. Misil Bataan Krajan Village Tenggarang Subdistrict Bondowoso District. Maintenance carried out for 2 months with goat population as much as 4 ± 1 year old age with an average body weight of 15.25 kg. The result of fattening on average fresh consumption of gamal leaves 862,81 g / head / day and fermented corn straw 936,81 g / head / day, body weight gain 90,18g / head / day. Business analysis R / C Ratio 1.2 B / C Ratio 0.2 BEP production 64 kg, BEP price 48,783 / kg. Total maintenance cost Rp3,951,500 with the selling price Rp.5,000,000 then the profit earned Rp. 1.048.500 so that the use of fermented corn straw and gamal leaf can be applied as goat feed
