Abstract

Solar power generating (PLTS) is environmentally friendly power plants , installation PLTS 2 has the grid system on and off the grid .By considering the aspect of technique the cost and regulations on the Watu Ulo Beach operational worthy Sumberejo village kabupaten Jember power raised on the Watu Ulo Beach operational worthy area of 15000 square meters of 1.75 MW. System PLTS made on grid with PLN based on the regulation ministry energy and mineral resources number 31, 2009 about the purchase price electric power by PLN (persero) and to minimize the size of the capital because the addition of batteries and battery inverter .The fund for the PLTS Watu Ulo beach for its 1,75 MW of Rp . 20.894.526.250 and capital will be back in to 12 in confectionery based on energy and mineral resources in 2016 , sudirman said feed in tariff for electricity from the sun Rp 1.885-3.250 / kWh. By using the method calculation profitability inbex (PI) and the results 1,0004 (>1) shows that PLTS to be developed on the Watu Ulo beach operational worthy of to be developed.
