Abstract

This research is about the manufacturing processes of electrolisys reaction’s speed control device on HHO generator to improve its efficiency. Electrolisys is a process to separate water(H2O) molecule into H-H-O gases by using electric direct current that supplied to several electroliser, this process is used to produce hydrogen gases. This device is made by using digital PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) system to manipulate duty cycle’s signal that can control the power taken from the batteries. Arduino is used to modificate by using Pulse witdh Modulation method. The manufacturing processes is devided into designing, simulating, manufacturing, particular testing, assembling, and final testing. Based on the research’s test, the device can running well to control the number of HHO gases production by changing the number of duty cycle value. If the number of duty cycle increase, the number of gas volume also increase. The using of controller device also make the number of HHO generator’s efficiency increase. The biggest efficiency’s average that able to get by using the device is up to 25.06 % on 20% duty cycle’s value. The power consumption also decrease by using this controller device on HHO gases generation system. Its shows that the device can save energy consumption on the electrolysis process in the HHO generator
