Abstract

Bhayangkara Bondowoso Hospital is a hospital with C type which perform one of medical function and health of police. Depreciation and destruction implementation of in-active medical record file at Bhayangkara Bondowoso Hospital since 2008 has not been realization, it give an impact to medical record file, it’s become the problem that happen at that hospital. The aims of this reseach is to analyze couse of delay depreciation and destruction of in-active medical record factors. This research using USG (Urgency, Seriousness, Growth) method to determine the biggest problem of this case. The factors this problems are the file storage space, management of storage systems, human resources for health, SOP depreciation and destruction, the availability of storage shelves, active and in-active medical record file management, scheduling depreciation, forming of destruction team and depreciation and destruction medical record file facilities. The results of this research shown the mean priority of this problem from those factors is limited of human resources. The human resources that exist only 5 people with D4 medical record education background, but 5 people were split into two shifts, 3 people are morning shift and 2 people are lunch shift, this resulted in the work officer being piled up. Based on the results shown that the number of medical record officers are still not sufficient, so it necessary to add permanent officers or contract officers in accordance with the requirements and policy of the hospital so that the activities of depreciation and destruction of medical record file can be done well.
