Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the specific fuel consumption (SFC) that lowest using mixtures of Pertamax and PP fuels with varieties of ignition angle. The method of this study is an experiment menthod, which the fuel is mixed with the varies of ignition angle the 10%,20%, and 30% PP plastic waste mixtures with pertamax and the ignition angle used are standart, 14 0 and 180 BTDC using the aftermarket CDI. In this study, in specific fuel consumption (SFC), the use of mixed fuel pertamax and PP has specific fuel consumption (SFC) is better than 100% Pertamax fuel usage that is at 3000 round at the standard ignition of 1.06 kg / kWh while the specific fuel consumption (SFC) mixture pertamax and PP that is at 3000 rounds at the standard ignition is 1.13 kg kWh. The use of mixed fuel pertamax and PP has a specific fuel consumption (SFC) is more optimal. This is assumed because the fuel mixture Pertamax and PP have the quality of fuel and octane value higher than the pertamax 100% fuel is seen from mf at 3000 round at the standard ignition is 2.32 kg / h while mf mixture pertamax and PP that is on 3000 round in the standard ignition is 2.46 kg / h.
