Abstract
Lumajang Islamic Hospital has implemented SIMRS since 2010 by using the Microsoft Visual FoxPro application and until the billing system. Here, medical record number is still inputed manually so it causes duplicate number. It’s also caused by no bank numbers anymore. The output is still raw data so that it must be processed to make a report. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the SIMRS based on PIECES aspect (Performance, Information, Economic, Control, Efficiency, Service) in outpatient department of Lumajang Islamic Hospital. This research method is descriptive quantitative research. The object of this research is the application of Hospital Management Information System (SIMRS) throughout the Lumajang Islamic Hospital unit and the subjects are the users of hospital management information system. The results show the group percentage calculation of aspects Performance (72%), Information (73.4%), Economic (72.1%), Control (74.8%) Efficiency (74%), Service (76,73% ) and all of them are in strong category. It shows that SIMRS is already done well and should be maintained, but there are still some lacks that need to be improved by the development of SIMRS.
