Abstract

Each farmer will plant have certain criteria that will be used as a material consideration to plant rice in accordance with their needs. When selecting techniques rice cultivation, farmers will see the details of the methods used every technique rice cultivation, and sometimes even though farmers have been seeing each method of cultivation techniques rice crop is complete, farmers are also still confused to determine what techniques are appropriate to their needs. This is because the data that is not yet classified correctly. This recommendation system will be made by applying the concept of Naïve Bayes classifier. The application of the concept of Naïve Bayes classifier useful for dealing with data that is isolated which is usually the data with different characteristics (outliner). So with that method this system is expected to facilitate and can be well understood by farmers. The purpose of this study is expected the author is able to implement a recommendation system that can be a solution to difficulties in the decision making and provide recommendations related techniques for rice cultivation during this time with a desktop-based application.
